1) From your Resident IQ dashboard, click on the Screening option located on the menu options listed on the left of the page. 


2) Click on New Screening.


3) First, from the dropdown menu, select the property that the potential tenant is applying for. Then enter the applicant's information (full legal name, contact information, date of birth, etc.), followed by their gross monthly income and the rent amount for the property.  *NOTE: The fields with the red line in front are REQUIRED.


    You will also be required to check the boxes on the right side of the page, to confirm you have obtained the applicant's consent to screen them, and to confirm that you are requesting the screening for purpose of tenant screening. There is a third box that, depending on the state the property is in,  you can choose to check or leave blank. If checked, then the applicant will receive a copy of the screening results. It is important to note that some states require that a copy of the screening results be provided to the applicant. 



4)  Next, you will see the list of screening package options that you chose when setting up your account. Select the screening package you would like to use by clicking on the circle aligned under the "Selected" column then click Next


5) Review the request, to ensure all information is correct. If there is an error, then select the option to Edit the information before proceeding. If it is correct, then click on Submit Order


6) Once submitted, you will see a message indicating the order has successfully been submitted, along with the order confirmation information. You may now go back to your Dashboard or start another New Screening
