1) Once you have logged into your Resident IQ account, select the Account Settings option from the menu seen on the left side of the page.
2) You will be taken to a screen that shows Clients toward the top of the page. Lower on the page, locate and click on your account name.
3) You will be taken to a new page where you will need to select the Payment Methods option located toward the right side of the screen.
4) Select the option to Add a Payment Method.
5) Enter a card nickname and provide the contact information for the car's primary account holder before clicking Continue.
*NOTE: The fields with the red line in front are REQUIRED.
6) Use the drop-down menu to select what kind of payment information you will be using (credit/debit card or bank account). Once you have made your selection, the fields will appear which allow you to enter the appropriate information for the payment method selected.
7) Enter the payment information and click Save Payment Method. Now you can request screenings for prospective tenants.
8) You now have the opportunity to assign the payment method to a specific property, a specific group, or allow it to be used for all properties, then click on "Continue" located in the bottom right corner of the window.
If you are assigning the payment method to a specific property/group, then you will use the drop-down menu to locate and select the desired property/group.
9) You will now see the saved payment information listed in the Payment Methods sections of your Account Settings.
